A @brasfieldgorrie project team was given 72 hours to replace a rail bridge that spanned a major shipping channel. The team was not allowed river access prior to the replacement, and was only given eight hours to gather information on the bridge before rail traffic resumed.
A drone map of the rail bridge, river, and shoreline allowed the team to develop a logistics plan and virtually simulate the replacement process. Effective planning ensures project success while minimizing the impact on the economy.
